FAQ

Do you have parking?


There is a number of paid car parks within walking distance of Wild Shore Liverpool. The nearest car park which includes disabled parking is 50m from our entrance in the Royal Albert Dock.




Are there changing facilities?


Yes. We have basic changing facilities on site available for all our customers.




Are there toilets?


There are public toilets 100m from Wild Shore Liverpool, inside the Royal Albert Dock.




What are the minimum ages?


All participants must be aged 6+. 6-8 year olds must be accompanied on to all activities by an adult. 8-15 year olds must be accompanied by an adult on to site, but adults are not required to take part in the activities.

Do you clean the kit?


Yes, we have very stringent cleaning measures in place. All our wetsuits, helmets and buoyancy aids are cleaned thoroughly after each use.




How long are your vouchers valid for?


Our vouchers are valid for a year from date of purchase. You can redeem them on our website when booking or you can give us a call to use them and we will gladly assist you to get booked in.




When are you opening?


We are opening on Saturday 1st May 2021. We will be open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in May, then Wednesday to Sunday from the beginning of June. Keep an eye on our social media for opening hours throughout the year.




Are there showers on site?


We do not have showers on site. Treat your trip like a day at the beach.




When do I need to arrive for my session?


We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before your session start time, to allow for checking in and changing.





Can I bring my own kit?


Yes you are welcome to bring your own wetsuit or buoyancy aid.




Is there places to watch?


Yes, you can view the activities from the pedestrianised walk way which is all the way round the Docks.




Do I need to book?


Yes, all our activities require pre booking. When we are open, you can book on the ‘Book Now’ tab on this website or alternatively you can give us a call. There is the chance we will have availability for on the day bookings and walk ins but please do not rely on this.




How much does it cost?


£18pp or £16pp for a group of 10 or more.




Is the water clean?


Yes, we test the water regularly.




What do I need to bring with me?


All your kit is provided for you (wetsuit & bouyancy aid), so all you need to bring is swimwear and a towel.




What happens if its raining?


All activities will continue if its raining. Only in extreme weather conditions will we close activities. If we do have to close your activity we will re-book your session or give you a full refund.




Where can I leave my personal possessions?


We have lockers on site available on a first come first serve basis. To secure the lockers they require a padlock, so please either bring one with you, or you can purchase one at reception.




Do I have to be physically fit to take part?


We recommend a moderate level of fitness. If you are pregnant please check with your healthcare professional before doing any of our activities.




What is the cancellation policy?


Groups of 1-9 people: Up to 48 hours prior to your session, customers can cancel and obtain a full refund, change date or time or participant numbers (subject to availability). Within 48 hours of booking, customers cannot cancel, adjust times, dates or participant numbers. Groups of 10+ people: Up to 1 week prior to booking customers can cancel and obtain a full refund, change date, times or participant numbers (subject to availability). Within 1 week of booking, customers cannot cancel, adjust times, dates or participant numbers.
